Ice-Skating

JCube Mall located near Jurong East MRT opened early of April this year
and the best thing is, it got ice skating rink
the mall before this is Jurong Entertainment Centre which i barely had a walk there
1st time experience ice skating
nervous + excited
at last, what we (Chili & I) planned is happening
the cost?
we rent the skates with 2-hours skating session - SGD$ 17.50
for those interested:
rental of whole package (included skates, gloves, socks & 2-hours skating session : SGD$ 21.50
separated rental:-
skates - SGD$ 3.50 (2-hours)
gloves/socks - SGD$ 2.00 respectively
and without all (means for 2-hours skating session only) - SGD$ 14.00
plus, for entrance of viewing gallery in the rink - SGD$ 3.50
(anyway, level 4 seats is FOC to view people skating around :p)

thus, we decided to go with $ 17.50 :p
(we got our own socks, and went in without gloves)
anyway, it's not cold at all when inside the rink

we are waiting to get into the rink

teehee! excited excited! (nervous nervous!)

oh yea! we are in the rink! slippery!! and we need to hold on the support along side of the viewing pane
saw the boy behind us? he's learning too

we took 12.45pm session, which is the time people having lunch, so.. we have quite some space to skate

playful bunch of gals fooling around while took a rest
eye-ing for a guy, maybe? teehee...

put on the skates again
gonna go down to skate again
(I'm insisting not taking any break til I learned to skate, even a small step, stubborn me :p)

Chili is a fast learner

she did fall few times and after a while,see her in action! whoa!! she can skate!

wow! catching up fast and was behind me!

for last hour of skating session, started to skate a little bit further from the support

what I got:-

pain in butt

ache in thigh

scratches on palm

blisters on feet
:'(

 

but it was a great experience
and looking forward for the second time pain in butt :p (jk)
